It was a dark and stormy night….

Ok, maybe not the night we got to Toronto but there had been a lot of stormy nights that lead to Tamasin and I leaving Winnipeg when she was just a toddler.  Needless to say, I needed a job to support our life.   I answered an ad for office work in the promotional industry and found the job that would change our trajectory.   Many times, I’d pick up Tamasin from daycare, just to go back to the office so I could finish for the day.   She has been entrenched in this world since a young toddler.  It’s ironic that so many years later, I am bringing her back to actually work with me and giving her an opportunity to spread her wings in an industry where I have spent my career.

I have been in the industry now for 35 years thanks to one person giving me a chance to earn the right to be here, and I have had the privilege of working with, and learning from, many of this industry’s most dynamic and successful leaders both here in Canada and in the United States.  I am forever grateful for the time and knowledge each of them gave me!
